Rangos iniciales 23.92/24.25.

Stock markets in
Asia closed mixed, between -1.19% and +1.96%, European markets are,
by mid-day negative, -3.22%, while futures in Americas are expecting
a mixed opening.
President Trump said
yesterday that he will suspend US funding to the World Health
Organization, as he accused the WHO of “severely mismanaging and
covering up the spread of the coronavirus.” This news was not
well-received by doctors and other scientist, as the US is the
largest single donor of the WHO, with almost $900 million USD. This
comes at the worst moment, as coronavirus pandemic is hurting the
whole world.
Coronavirus has
almost reach the 2 million confirmed cases world-wide, with 128,011
deaths. The US has now 609,685 cases, Spain has 177,633 and Italy has
162,488 confirmed cases. Mexico has now, according to Johns Hopkins
Covid-19 Resource Center 5,399 confirmed cases with 406 deaths. In
China, the People ́s Bank of China offered $100 billion Yuan on a
one-year medium-term lending facility and cut the rate to 2.95% from
3.15%.
The Euro is around
1.0870 and the British Pound is around 1.2460, Oil is below $20 USD
per barrel, lowest level since March 30th. Peso is weak against
dollar, trading around 24.05.
This Day in History!
A day like today in
1947, Jackie Robinson, age 28, becomes the first African American
player in the Major League Baseball when he steps onto Ebbets Field
in Brooklyn to compete for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Robins broke the
color barrier in a sport that had been segregated for more than 50
years. Exactly 50 years later, on April 15, 1997, Robinson ́s
groundbreaking career was honored and his uniform number, 42, was
retired from Major League Baseball by Commissioner Bud Selig in a
ceremony attended by over 50,000 fans at New York City ́s Shea
Stadium.
