Vives has pledged to donate $1 from each ticket sold to support the Foundation in its mission to further music education for future music makers

Vives has been a generous ally of the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation since its launch. In 2016 he participated in a Latin GRAMMY In The Schools™ educational program in Mexico, he generously donated his book "Cumbiana: Relatos de un mundo perdido" to six high schools that had previously benefited from educational programs and in 2018 he co-sponsored the Carlos Vives Scholarship, which provided voice student Nicolle Horbath the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree in Songwriting and Composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Recipients of the annual Prodigy Scholarship are selected by the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation scholarship committee from a highly-competitive group of applicants from across the Americas and the Iberian Peninsula.
