TUCSON,
Ariz. – Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents recently arrested two Mexican
nationals previously convicted for sex crimes against children.
On
April 14, Willcox Station agents arrested 26-year-old Jesus Nieblas-Romero near
San Simon, Arizona. During processing, agents conducted a records check and
found he was convicted twice for illegal re-entry into the United States, and
also convicted for sexual contact with a child in 2010.
On
April 17, Brian A. Terry Station agents arrested 28-year-old Nestor
Franco-Guevara in Bisbee, Arizona. A records check revealed he was previously
deported from the U.S. and was convicted of raping a child in 2009.
Both
subjects are being processed in accordance to Tucson Sector Guidelines and face
prosecution for criminal illegal re-entry into the United States.
