International Association of Anthropological
and Ethnological Sciences (IUAES) was established in 1948 with the aim of
promoting and supporting the development of anthropology in the world. The Association
brings together individual anthropologists, but also national and regional
scientific and anthropological societies and other institutions dealing with
anthropology in the broadest interdisciplinary sense.
IUAES Inter-Congress 2016 will be held in
Dubrovnik, Croatia, at the Palace Hotel , from 4 to 9 May 2016. The title of
the Inter-Congress is World Anthropologies and privatization of knowledge:
engaging anthropology in public.
