Hola, buen día. Fuerte movimiento durante la operación de ayer por la tarde con rangos entre 20.91 y 21.96, más de un peso de movimiento durante la elección más importante de la historia en EEUU. Se eligieron algunas gubernaturas, cámara alta, cámara baja y la más relevante, la de presidente. Aún no se tiene un claro ganador y éste es el escenario que muchos querían evitar. Ambos Candidatos a Presidente, se han declarado ganadores y los mercados financieros se encuentran pendientes del resultado oficial.
Al momento de escribir este comentario, Biden tiene ganados 238 votos electorales vs 213 de Trump a falta del cómputo oficial de algunos Estados importantes como Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia y North Carolina; Biden necesita 32 votos mientras que Trump necesita 57 y los mercados estarán pendientes a los resultados durante las próximas horas.
Los niveles importantes del peso mexicano ante el evento anterior son 20.85 como soporte fuerte, 21.05 como nivel intermedio de soporte; resistencia inmediata marcada en 21.25 con extensión a 21.50 con altas probabilidades de observar todos los niveles.

It’s been a long night and we still don’t have a President in the US; Joe Biden has a narrow edge over Trump, leading 224 to 213, remember, the magic number is 270. 9 states are behind the presidency andit looks like we’ll have a photo finish. Biden is leading in Arizona, Wisconsin and Nevada, while Trump is ahead in Georgia, Michigan and Pennsylvania and votes are still counting.
During the night, the Peso swung between 20.90 and 21.97.
Asia-Pacific stock markets closed mostly higher, with the Nikkei up +1.72% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng losing -0.21, European markets are positive by mid-day, +1.35%. Wall Street is expecting a positive opening, even without a President.
The election is the only driver for markets today, but we can’t forget ADP Employment data, which was worse than expected, 365 K vs 650 K.
Oil is $38.60 USD per barrel, gold is $1,910.0, the British Pound is 1.2970, the Euro is 1.1710 and the Peso is 21.10.
