Hola buen día, el
feriado en México por el día del trabajo, atrajo un comportamiento
de nuestra divisa negativo; las tensiones económicas entre China y
EEUU nuevamente parece ser el principal protagonista de la aversión
al riesgo y por ende la depreciación de las divisas emergentes
incluidas en ellas el Peso Mexicano.
El jueves el precio
de cierre se ubicó sobre niveles de 24.10/24.12 aproximadamente y
durante las primeras horas del viernes 1 de mayo, el precio alcanza
niveles de 24.88 impulsado por estas tensiones comerciales entre las
dos economías más grandes del mundo. Todo esto a pesar de que la
FDA aprobara ya en EEUU el uso del “Remdesivir” como tratamiento
para combatir el Covid-19 en casos graves.
Entre desacuerdos
comerciales, “dimes y diretes” de que la Pandemia fue generada en
China, intenciones de eliminar el dólar en transacciones comerciales
en China, amenazas de imposición de aranceles es lo que tiene a los
mercados presionados.
Esta semana será
importante debido a la publicación de datos de empleo, tasa de
desempleo y nomina no agrícola en EEUU, además de los datos
inflación en México y la creación formal de empleos.
Técnicamente de
corto plazo vemos niveles importantes entre 24.30 ́s y 24.70 ́s con
niveles intermedios entre 24.43 y 24.63 niveles inmediatos de soporte
y resistencia respectivamente. Rango inicial 24.43/24.63.

Stock markets around
the world tumbled this Monday after tensions between the US and China
escalated over the origin of the coronavirus pandemic. Mike Pompeo,
US secretary of state linked the coronavirus outbreak to a laboratory
in Wuhan in China. He also said that China is blocking access to
information and refusing to co-operate with overseas scientist trying
to develop a vaccine. Asian markets closed between -4.148 and +1.18%,
Europe is -4.0% by mid-day and futures in the Americas are expecting
a negative opening as well. Last Friday, the FDA issued an emergency
use authorization to Gilead ́s remdesivir, for the treatment of
COVID-19 in adults and children. With this, the drug could be
distributed in the US and administered intravenously to treat the
disease. Today, Gilead CEO said that remdesivir will be available to
patients this week, and that they will donate the entire supply to
the US government. Coronavirus has reached 3,526,178 confirmed cases
around the world, and 247,971 deaths. Mexico has now 23,471 cases and
2,154 fatalities so far. This week all eyes will be on Friday ́s US
Nonfarm Payrolls, where the unemployment rate is widely expected to
reach multidecade highs. Oil is $21.68 USD per barrel, the Peso is
trading around 24.55, the Euro is 1.0930 and the British Pound is
around 1.2420. This Day in History! A day like today in 1979,

Britain’s first female prime minister. The Oxford-educated chemist
and lawyer was sworn in the day after the Conservatives won a 44-seat
