En la jornada anterior la caída de Wall Street impulsada por las tecnológicas provocó que el peso frente al dólar cerrara cerca de niveles de 21.70, después de haber sido fortalecido por el dato de las solicitudes de ayuda por desempleo en las cuales cayeron a 800 mil, un dato mejor a lo esperado, lo que había provocado que tocara el 21.55 como mínimo.
Mientras que las bolsas
asiáticas cerraron en el mismo tenor que las
norteamericanas, las europeas
están en estos momentos positivos con un sentimiento de alivio por
el sector bancario por la posible fusión de bancos españoles,
aunados de las estimaciones de que el Banco Central Europeo mantendrá
su política monetaria. Por otro lado, también amanecemos con la
noticia de que Nancy Pelosi (líder demócrata en la Cámara de
Representantes) y Steven Mnuchin (secretario del Tesoro) se
comprometen a trabajar juntos para negociar y que el gobierno no
cierre, algo que debería de ser normal, resulta que los mercados
están felices, describiendo los momentos que se viven en Estados
Unidos. Por todo lo anterior el mínimo en la noche fue 21.5510
después del máximo de 21.72.
A las 7:30 se dio a conocer el
dato de nóminas no agrícolas (NFPR por sus siglas en ingles) en
1,371 mil contra 1,350mil estimados, mientras que la tasa de
desempleo se ubicó en 8.84% vs 9.8% que se estimaba por los
analistas, dándole mayor fortalecimiento al peso frente al dólar.
Estos datos fueron los únicos que se esperan para este día.
Para hoy se espera un soporte
en 21.50 (promedio móvil de 200 días y mínimo desde el 9 de junio)
con primer techo en 21.65, de romper el primer soporte podríamos ver
el 21.35, nivel no registrado desde el 16 de marzo, mientras las
siguientes resistencias las tendíamos en 21.75 y 21.88. Suerte y
buen fin de semana.

the unemployment rate fell to 8.4% from 10.2% in July. US job is
growing, but will this be enough? Asia- acific stock markets skidded
this Friday -3.06% following Wall Street’s tumble. On the other
hand, European stocks are positive by mid-day, +0.67% boosted by
merge talks between Spain’s Caixabank and Bankia, which will create
Spain’s largest bank. Wall Street is having a positive opening
after having its worst day since June.
Oil is $40.96 USD per barrel,
gold is $1,929.40 USD per ounce, the British Pound is 1.3210, the
Euro is 1.18 and the Peso keeps strengthening against dollar, and is
trading around 21.53.

A day like today in 2002,
Kelly Clarkson, a 20-year-old cocktail waitress from Texas, wins the
first season of American Idol in a live television broadcast from
Hollywood’s Kodak Theater. Clarkson came out on top in the amateur
singing contest over 23-year-old runner-up Justin Guarini after
millions of viewers cast their votes for her by phone. She was
awarded a recording contract and went on to sell millions of albums
and establish a successful music career. (Clarkson and Guarnini also
co-starred in the 2003 box-office bomb From Justin to Kelly, which
