ZEL’s hotel concept celebrates open-air living, with rooms designed in natural colours, textures, and organic shapes that evoke nature and promote peace, wellbeing, and relaxation.

 

At ZEL Mallorca, the interiors reflect a harmonious blend of Mediterranean influences — drawing from Italy and Greece, while rooted in Mallorcan essence. Earthy and ocean tones, along with artisanal prints and finishes, create a vibrant yet calming atmosphere. The renovation and interior design were led by ASAH Studio, founded by architects Álvaro and Adriana Sans.

 

The patio — a central element of Mediterranean architecture — is the heart of ZEL Mallorca. Replacing the traditional reception, it acts as a lively hub inspired by a Mediterranean home, featuring a concept store with exclusive local and international brands, a specialty Café de Finca café, and a Mediterranean lounge.

Every detail captures this unique ambiance: the soft golden hues of a sunset, the warmth of an afternoon nap, the vibrant energy of a lively celebration, and the refreshing embrace of the sea breeze. The suite features a bathtub with a sea view, a Create Bluetooth speaker, robes, slippers, a hair straightener, a coffee machine, and a kettle. Each element has been meticulously crafted to immerse guests in the colorful and vibrant world of the Mediterranean, blending the experiences of ZEL Mallorca and Pangea.

Renowned for its cross-disciplinary artistic approach in fashion, design, and textiles, Pangea crafts a vibrant visual universe. Created by Laetitia Rouget, a painter and ceramicist, and Colombine Jubert, a fashion designer and creative director, the duo combines their distinct visions to shape Pangea.United by optimism, Laetitia and Colombine envision a utopia where art, textiles, and performance merge, creating a joyful, liberated, and colorful future full of inspiration. Their approach is based on artisanal techniques, particularly patchwork, and has already attracted brands such as Sézane, l’aéroport d’Orly, and la Samaritaine.
