LOS ÁNGELES, CALIFORNIA, 10 de septiembre de 2026 — Netón Vega ha sido anunciado como finalista, por segundo año consecutivo, en la categoría Artista Regional Mexicano del Año, Solista de los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2026. Su regreso a la categoría ocurre después de doce meses decisivos para su carrera, en los que canciones, colaboraciones y proyectos discográficos mantuvieron una presencia constante en distintas listas de Billboard, mientras su música continuó creciendo en las principales plataformas digitales. Los finalistas de los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina se determinan a partir del desempeño en las listas de Billboard durante el periodo de elegibilidad, con base en métricas de consumo que incluyen streaming, ventas, audiencia radial y actividad digital. Para la edición 2026, el ciclo comprende 52 semanas de actividad en las listas, desde el 13 de septiembre de 2025 hasta el 5 de septiembre de 2026. Durante ese periodo se hacen presentes nueve canciones y dos álbumes de Netón Vega con presencia en diferentes charts de Billboard, lo que traza un recorrido que va más allá del desempeño de un solo lanzamiento. Entre sus temas como solista, “Nalguita y Teta” alcanzó el #1 de Mexico Songs y, hasta el momento, acumula 18 semanas en la lista, 12 de ellas consecutivas en la primera posición. La canción también llegó al #8 de Hot Latin Songs, donde hoy en día permanece, y permaneció 8 semanas en el Billboard Global 200. “Pvta Luna” alcanzó igualmente el #10 de Hot Latin Songs, con al menos 26 semanas, además de llegar al #3 de Mexico Songs, donde acumuló al menos 25 semanas. Los Angeles, California September 10, 2026 — Netón Vega has been named a finalist for Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Solo at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards, marking his second consecutive year as a finalist in the category. His return to the category follows a pivotal 12 months in his career, during which his songs, collaborations and album releases maintained a consistent presence across multiple Billboard charts, while his music continued to gain momentum across major digital platforms. Finalists for the Billboard Latin Music Awards are determined by performance on Billboard’s charts throughout the eligibility period, based on key music consumption metrics including streaming, sales, radio airplay and digital activity. For the 2026 edition, the eligibility cycle encompasses 52 weeks of chart activity, from September 13, 2025, through September 5, 2026.
